DrivRE is a real estate operating system for solo agents ("DrivRE," "we," "us," "our"). DrivRE is operated as a sole proprietorship based in California. This policy explains what information DrivRE collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the DrivRE application and the website at drivre.ai.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive your name and email address to create and secure your account.
Information you add. DrivRE is a tool for managing your own business. The contact records, notes, deal details, and content you enter or import are stored in your account so the product can work for you.
Access requests. If you ask for access through the form at drivre.ai, we store the email address, name, and brokerage you enter, along with the page that referred you and your browser type, so we can respond.
Screenshots of text conversations. If you use text capture, you can upload screenshots of a text message conversation between you and one of your contacts. DrivRE reads the screenshots to pull out the messages and does not store the screenshots themselves. The messages you review and choose to save, from both you and the other person, are stored on that contact's timeline, including anything written in them, such as a phone number or an address.
Google and Gmail data. If you choose to connect your Gmail account, DrivRE accesses certain Google data as described in the next section. Connecting Gmail is optional, and the rest of DrivRE works without it.
Technical information. We collect standard log and device information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
How we handle Google and Gmail data
This section describes exactly how DrivRE handles data from your Google account. Connecting Gmail is optional, and you can disconnect it at any time.
Permissions we request
When you connect Gmail, DrivRE requests two permissions: read access to your messages (the gmail.readonly scope) and the ability to send messages you approve (the gmail.send scope).
What we do with it
- Relationship signals (read). DrivRE reads message headers, meaning who a message was from, who it was sent or copied to, and when it was sent, to work out where each relationship stands: when you last heard from someone, when you last replied, and how often you exchange messages. We do not store the content of your emails for this. While Gmail is connected, DrivRE refreshes these signals automatically each night, and it can also check for new activity when you open a contact or a deal.
- Thread summaries (read, on request). When you explicitly ask DrivRE to summarize a recent email thread (the "Catch me up" feature), the text of that thread is sent to our AI provider to generate the summary, used to produce that one result, and then discarded. We do not store the message content. If you choose to save the summary as a note on the contact, that note is stored in your account like any note you write, and you can edit or delete it.
- Sending (send). With your permission, DrivRE can send an email that you have reviewed and approved, from your connected mailbox, to one of that contact's own email addresses. DrivRE never sends a message on its own; sending always requires your explicit action. When you send, DrivRE logs the send on that contact's timeline, including the opening of the message you sent, the same way it logs a call or a note you record yourself.
We never store the body of the messages we read from your Gmail. From Gmail, we store the derived relationship signals described above, any summary you choose to save as a note, and, while your Gmail is connected, an encrypted credential that lets DrivRE access your mailbox on your behalf. To run the connection, we also store your connected address, whether sending is enabled, a sync position, and the results of recent syncs, and we keep technical records of each sync and send that hold message identifiers and counts but never message content. Your daily suggestions can restate a signal in plain words, such as saying that someone emailed you twelve days ago.
Google Limited Use disclosure
DrivRE's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:
- We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features described above.
- We do not transfer Google user data to others except as necessary to provide those features, with your consent, or as required by law or for security.
- We do not use Google user data for advertising.
- We do not allow humans to read your Google user data, except with your consent, for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
- We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine learning models.
How we use AI
DrivRE uses an AI provider (Anthropic) to power features such as drafting messages in your voice, suggesting your next move, and summarizing email threads on request. We send the minimum information needed for each feature. For most AI features this is limited to the contact and activity details already in your account. If Gmail is connected, that can include the relationship signals described above, such as how many days it has been since someone emailed you and whether they are waiting on a reply, but never the content of your emails. Email content is sent only for the on-request thread summary described above, and the thread is not retained afterward. A summary you choose to save becomes a note, and like your other notes and logged activity it can be used as context for later drafts and suggestions.
If you use text capture, the screenshots you upload are sent to our AI provider to read the messages in them, used to produce that one result, and then discarded. The messages you save become part of that contact's record and, like your other logged activity, can be used as context for later drafts and suggestions. Text capture does not use any Google or Gmail data.
Data sent to our AI provider is used only to generate the output you asked for. It is not used by our provider to train its AI models, and we do not use your data to train generalized AI or machine learning models.
How we store and protect your data
Your DrivRE data is stored using Google Firebase. If you connect Gmail, the credential that allows access to your mailbox is encrypted at rest using Google Cloud Key Management Service and is accessible only to DrivRE's secure server processes, never to other users. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that help us operate DrivRE, such as Google for hosting, authentication, and security screening of text written by other people, and Anthropic for AI features, and only as needed to provide the service or when required by law.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can disconnect Gmail at any time from your settings. Disconnecting asks Google to revoke DrivRE's access and deletes the stored mailbox credential and sync position. When you disconnect, and at any time afterward from your settings, you can also choose to delete the email history DrivRE built from Gmail: the signals on every contact, the daily suggestions that restate them, and the Gmail connection details. Notes you chose to save, including summaries saved from Catch me up and text conversations saved with text capture, stay as your own records until you delete them from the contact's timeline, and so do the technical records of past syncs and sends. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@drivre.ai.
Your choices
- Connecting or disconnecting Gmail is entirely your choice.
- You can exclude individual contacts from AI features within the app. Contacts you tag as a lender, agent, title or escrow officer, or vendor stay out of automatic suggestions and campaigns, and you can still ask DrivRE to draft to them, catch you up on them, or send to them.
- You can request access to or deletion of your data by emailing support@drivre.ai.
Children
DrivRE is a professional tool intended for licensed real estate agents and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. We will communicate material changes through the app or by email where appropriate.
